Especially in the second half of the year, messages on banners and signs tend to disappear behind fog, rain or in the dark as the days get shorter. If you miss an advertisement, it may be a nuisance, if you miss security warnings, it can get dangerous. If you want to create a banner that is recognised at all times, we recommend the banner material ORALITE® 5437M from Orafol®. Being equipped with high-performance microprisms, the retroreflective film 5437M is graded reflectivity class RA1/C and conforms to standard EN 12899-1.
Resilient Banner Film for Various Applications
Orafol® ORALITE® 5437M is a resilient reflective film that defies all weather conditions, corrosion and solvents. It is suitable for outdoor applications like warning banners on barriers or as temporary traffic or commercial signs. The film is resistant to scratches and impacts, and makes the world a bit safer by reflecting incident light.
The high-quality vinyl film is the perfect choice for creating your own banners since it can be worked so easily: You can cut it to size without having to seal the edges. Moreover, you can print it well with digital printing ink or regular screen printing colours. The textile backing made of polyester and cotton allows affixing the material by sewing or integrating eyelets.
Please note that the reflective film is not air-permeable due to its vinyl finish. As a consequence, strong winds may damage the banner or cause the fence or scaffolding where the banner is attached to, to fall.
