What You Need to Know About Reflective Warning Banners
Warning banners can signalise potential hazards with their typical red and white stripe pattern. When ordering a warning banner, you can choose between the diagonal directions right-hand and left-hand.
The base material of our warning banners is the reflective film ORALITE® 5937 from Orafol®, which has a microprismatic structure and provides high conspicuity day and night, even at wide angles (reflectivity class RA2/C).
All our warning banners have textile backsides and excel in durability and resistance to weather and UV radiation. The edges are hemmed and a laminate protects the reflective film from outdoor impacts like scratches or rain. Eyelets allow simple and quick attachment or removal.
The flexible, light material can be transported and stored without much space. Also, the supple banners can be used where regular metal signs fail, e. g. on irregular or curved surfaces. Thus, they are suitable for marking abnormal loads on vehicles or trees in unlit areas, which are hard to see at night.
If you would like to create your own warning banner, our reflective banner material is the right choice for you. It is sold by the metre and is available in different roll widths.
Please note that the reflective film is not air-permeable due to its vinyl finish. As a consequence, strong winds may damage the banner or cause the fence or scaffolding where the banner is attached to, to fall.
