Vehicles with tail lifts must be equipped with chevron warning flags according to German regulations (art. 53b StVZO) to prevent accidents resulting from the moving tail lift not being visible enough for other road users.

Note! A special permit is required for using red/yellow tail flags (art. 70 StVZO). Please read the corresponding regulations of every Federal State.
Red/yellow warning flags should be used on fire engines (according to DIN 14502-3).
