The direction of shaded reflective films is indicated differently. We adopt the direction information from the manufacturers 3M™ and Orafol®, according to which the directions are specified as follows:
The warning marking strips are viewed vertically/standing up (specifications as available from us in the shop):
For horizontal application of the strips, as shown in the following graphics, when selecting our warning markings, make sure that left-facing and right-facing always refer to the vertical orientation when applying!
L = left-handed, Rhombs point to the left → Selection in the shop: pointing to the right | R = right-handed, Rhombs point to the right → Selection in the shop: pointing to the left
Another major misconception is the belief that turning a warning marker, e.g. a right-hand marker, creates a left-hand marker. The following graphic disproves this! If you turn the warning mark, the direction remains unchanged.
