Red and white warning markings (Hazard warning tapes) - in accordance with 
DIN 4844 - identify moving obstacles in the internal company area (e.g. beams, cranes, gates, forklift trucks). The self-adhesive red and white safety markings are affixed to the source of danger. The red and white rhombs of the reflective foil should always be stuck towards the center of the object (i.e. from the top center to the left or right outside, so that the stripes form an A). Apart from this, there are no instructions for application.
The hatches have an angle of inclination of 45° and the colour fields alternate at equal intervals.
The narrower the individual colour rhombs are (and thus a short change from red to white), the better the 
industrial warning marking | industrial warning marking is suited for small, narrow areas and thus increases the perception of the warning effect.
Industrial warning markings are not suitable for use on surfaces subject to heavy traffic, such as floor surfaces that are driven over by equipment or walked on by employees.
