The ORALITE® Transparent Film 5051 from German manufacturer Orafol® protects reflective sign sheeting against all kinds of damaging impacts like UV light or dirt which may reduce reflectivity and readability of traffic signs or signposts. If required, there is no need to replace the sign, just wipe clean its laminated surface.

The overlaminate film is suitable for the short to mid-term outdoor use on ORALITE® reflective films:

• ORALITE® 5930 High Intensity Prismatic Construction Grade
• ORALITE® Engineer Grade Series

These reflective sheetings may be printed with ORALITE 5019 Digital Printing Ink.

Due to its outstandingly thin and colourless design, the overlaminate is highly transparent. The laminated traffic signs keep their CE compliancy and are still conforming to EN 12899-1 (European Regulation), DIN 67520 and DIN 6171 (Germany), BS 873: Part 6 (Great Britain), NFP 98-520 (France), SN 640878 (Switzerland), ASTM D 4956 (US), JIS Z 9117 (Japan) for the specific coefficient of retroreflection and color coordinates.
