What You Need to Know About Removable Carrier Films for Vehicle Markings

Vehicle safety markings are important to increase visibility in poor light conditions and are required by law for cars with particular purposes.

If you have to sell your car or would like to remove the safety markings for some other reasons from the vehicle, this can get quite difficult. Safety markings are made for permanent use and hence are equipped with a strong adhesive, which lasts for several years.

Therefore, we recommend to use a carrier film between the substrate and the marking sheeting. It is also easy to apply and – even more importantly – is easy to remove with heat.

There are two options of how to install the carrier film:

1. You can apply the carrier film onto the car’s surface first and add then the safety marking film on top of it.

2. You combine the two films first and put them onto the car together as one.
