3M 580E Sheets

You will receive a 3M reflective film Scotchlite 580E cut to DIN A4 or DIN A3 format. This self-adhesive film has been developed for vehicle applications and adheres optimally to smooth, lacquered surfaces and aluminium.

Dimensions: 297 x 210 mm (DIN A4) or 297 x 420 mm (DIN A3)
Reflectivity class: RA1/A
Colours: white, orange, gold, yellow, lemon yellow, red, blue, light blue, green, ruby red, black
Standards: according to ECE 104 class E

Note: The reflective tape has an E mark (watermark) at regular intervals (approx. 40 cm). However, as our blanks are cut from a master roll, it is possible that no marks can be seen on a sheet of film.

Features of the 3M reflective film Scotchlite 580E:

• permanently self-adhesive
• can be cut to size, plotted
• 0.18 mm thick, non-stretchable
• service life up to 8 years
• printable (screen and digital printing)
• no edge sealing necessary
• with E-marking according to ECE 104 class E for vehicle advertising (at intervals of approx. 40 cm, see note above)

Possible applications of the 3M reflective film Scotchlite 580E

The film is suitable for vehicle advertising, graphics, lettering, markings and decorations that can be applied within contour markings (according to ECE 104 class E).
The respective national regulations must be taken into account!

Application of reflective film 3M 580E

The surface to be covered must be free of dust, grease or other impurities that could impair the adhesive strength of the material. Newly painted surfaces must be fully cured.
Application tests must be carried out with the intended paints to determine compatibility.
The self-adhesive reflective material may only be applied dry! Furthermore, the processing instructions issued by 3M must be observed.
