3M Reflective Tape 823i

The 3M 823i reflective film was developed as a warning marking film for vehicles and containers and also performs impressively as a reflective tape in other diverse areas of application.

Reflectivity class: RA2/C
3M Colours: white (823i-10), yellow (823i-11), red (823i-12), blue (823i-15)

Properties of 3M 823i reflector tapes

• Durability up to 3 years
• Film thickness: 0.13 mm (suitable for use on flat and slightly curved surfaces)
• Bonding should be carried out at +15 °C to +30 °C (material and ambient temperature)
• Removable with the application of heat
• Pressure-activated adhesive, so the film can still be repositioned initially (Controltac technology)
• bubble-free bonding thanks to the microchannels of Comply technology
• no edge sealing necessary

Possible uses of the 3M 823i reflective tape
The reflective tape can be used to make the following objects more visible:

• Reflective target marks for sensor systems, e.g. light barriers (infrared/red light), measurement technology and CNC controls
• Markings in outdoor areas, e.g. gate entrances, barriers, bollards, posts
• Bonding on bicycles, trailers, pushchairs
• walking frames, walking sticks

Important notes:
Please note that there may be a deviation in the reflective tape width of +/- 1 mm due to the production process.
Series 823i reflective tape is not suitable for use on stainless steel substrates.
The 3M logo is only printed at larger intervals inside the large roll. It is therefore possible that individual reflective tapes do not have a logo. However, you can recognise the authenticity of the film by its surface structure as shown in the photo.
